And it is famous. Masal, meaning “mountainous” or a place by the mountain, is a scenic area in the neighborhood of Talash mountains. It is enough to wake up early in the morning in this green area to start a joyful and heartwarming day in the heart of its unique nature and soaring mountains.

Anzali Wetland consists of several islands and due to its special geographical location, it cannot be compared with any of Iran’s wetlands in terms of humidity and water.
Cave Darbandarshi Rudbar
If you like to hike in a mountain path with unique nature and enjoy the scenery around you, “Darbandarshi Cave” is the ideal destination. This ancient cave is another sight-seeing place in the north of Gilan, less than two decades have passed since its discovery. Darband Reshi Rudbar cave was in 2004 by the archaeologist “Wali Jahani” and was in the list of national monuments of Iran in the same year. In this cave, fossil remains of animals, including cave bears, and a number of stone tools, such as cleavers, retouched chips, mother stone, and cutting scraps, dating back to the Paleolithic period, have been discovered.
Rasht Municipality Square of Tourist Attractions in North of Iran
Gilan does not only have natural and pristine attractions. In this charming and dreamy land, you can also visit many historical monuments. One of the most famous historical monuments in the city of Rasht, which is actually its symbol, is the “Municipal Square”. This square consists of 3 sets of the Municipal Palace, the Post Museum and the old building of the Iran Hotel and was at the beginning of Reza Pahlavi’s reign by his order. The 90-year-old white palace of the municipality is perhaps the first thing that will attract your attention in this complex. This building was by the terrible Zanjil earthquake in 1369. “Javaher Dasht” is a dream villa in Gilan province, which is located in Chabaksar district and 46 km from Rudsar city. This mountainous region is at a relative height of 2000 meters above the level of the Caspian Sea, and due to its vast and green plains, numerous springs and clean and cool air, it is one of the best places to visit in the north in summer. On the south side of Javaherdasht Yilaq, the highest peak of Gilan province “Samamos” is located. This area is uninhabited during this season due to its cold winters. “Serulat and Javaherdasht Protected Area” with an area of 21,254 hectares is located near the old summer village of Javaherdasht and has been under protection since 1378.
