Generally, There are a lot of stories about the age of Fin Garden. Some attribute the early age of the garden to the time of Ardeshir Babakan, the founder of the Sassanid dynasty; But for the first time in historical sources, during the time of Yaqub Laith Safari, the founder of the Safari family, along with the Arab army from the central deserts of Iran, there is mention of a garden in this region.
This source informs about the existence of a spring and a garden in a desert area. Some other experts, based on historical sources, believe that the Fin Garden dates back to the reign of Al-Buye.
Some consider the existence of Fin Garden and its development and progress to be related to the patriarchal era. Yagut Hamavi, the famous geographer and historian of the 7th century AH, has also mentioned about Kashan people’s excursions around Fin gardens.
How it became the wonder of Shah Abbas
In 951 AD and at the end of the reign of Shah Tahmasb, the second king of the Safavid dynasty, a terrible earthquake occurred and caused serious damage to the garden. The remains of that earthquake are located a few hundred meters away from today’s Bagh Fin, and it is known as the Old Bagh.
After the death of Shah Tahmasb, two members of the Safavid family, including Shah Ismail II and Muhammad Khodabande (father of Shah Abbas), came to power and with their weak rule, they caused the Kashan government to fall into the hands of the Turkmens for several years and cause many disasters.
Shah Abbas I, the most famous and the fifth Safavid king, after the suppression of the Turkmen sedition, issued orders for the construction and development of Kashan and the provision of means for the development and promotion of local industries and the improvement of the general situation, and Agha Khizranhavandi, the governor of Kashan, became the agent of their implementation.

The passageways of Khorram Fin Garden play an important role in the architecture of this garden. Amir Kabir Library and Kashan National Museum are located in the east-west passage of the garden. Fin garden Hot pond
One of the most attractive parts of Fin Garden is the bubbling pond. The boiling pool has 160 holes. The functioning of these holes set so that the water did not overflow from the pond. This interesting feature made it a masterpiece in the art of water supply. The floor of this amazing pond is famous for It’s with plates, a beautiful pattern of Kashan carpets. At the beginning of Reza Shah’s reign, the tiles of this pond were removed by some looters. Unfortunately, some of these tiles were lost and some that remained were sold to the Louvre Museum in Paris.
