Because this city is the second highest city in Gilan province after Rudbar. Its climate is so cold in winter that almost no one stays in its huts and everyone goes to the city. The best time to travel to Masal villas starts from the middle of May and continues until the end of October. If we want to talk about its climate in general, we must say that the climate of this city, which is located at an altitude of 84 meters above sea level, is humid and in the semi-humid highlands.

The word “Oles” in the local Talshi language means a border tree and “Belengah” means a high and high place. You can easily see the entire area of Masal and Talesh from the high Olsbelengah.
